The longest road trip of the season into Lincolnshire saw the long coach journey home made more pleasant with a good and important win over relegated Grantham Town.
An own goal and a Haden Carson rocket from 22 yards gave Darlaston a 2-0 fist half lead, The Gingerbreads came back in the second half capitalising on a mistake in the Darlaston defence but could not force an equaliser in the final minutes of the game.
