Since the beginning of September Nuneaton’s new management team are clearly developing their young squad week by week after suffering some heavy losses at the beginning of the season. Nuneaton Griff are now in mid-table in 9th position after 19 games, in which 8 have been won, 9 lost, leaving two to be drawn, but due to some early heavy losses, the club has a goal difference of minus 18.
Nuneaton’s current form has produced a draw, two wins and three losses in their last six league games, starting with a trip to Wednesfield on the second Saturday of October which produced a 0-0 draw. Despite Darlaston being unbeaten in the last 3 games, tomorrow will be an extremely difficult fixture, Dean Gill’s side have rested well this week with the exception of a grueling training session on Wednesday, Manager Gill looks to have a fully fit squad available for the game with the exception of long-term absentees Leon Taylor and Matt Pinder, who are now both accelerating their rehabilitation and their surgeries had been successful, we hope to see both players given their rate of recovery early in the new year.
