Darlaston Town after their trip to Liverpool on Saturday are once again on their travels tomorrow evening this time a trip up the M6 to Newcastle under Lyme to play Newcastle Town in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.

Darlaston Town visited the Red Industries Stadium in July when they played Stone Old Alleynians in a pre-season friendly at The Red Industries Stadium.

Newcastle Town are currently just above Darlaston Town in 16th place having played 12 games this season winning three all at home against Sporting Khalsa Trafford and Witton Albion, they have also drawn two and lost seven. They are currently two points above Darlaston Town in the table having played one game more.

Newcastle Town’s recent results in October produced a very close 4-3 win over Witton Albion at the Red Industries Stadium, along with a loss at Chasetown (3-0) and last Saturday a 0-0 draw at home against Wythenshawe Town.

In September Newcastle exited the Isuzu FA Trophy at the same stage as Darlaston losing at Belper Town 2-1. The month saw four league fixtures a win over Trafford at home 1-0 was the only win, a draw at current league leaders Avro, and two losses 1-0 at Clitheroe and a 2-0 home loss to Bootle. Dangerman for Newcastle is forward Joel Jones who’s scored four times so far this season and he sure to be a goal threat tomorrow night

Darlaston meanwhile having secured two draw’s in the last two fixtures at home against mid table Kidsgrove Athletic last Wednesday and against third place Lower Breck in Liverpool on Saturday, Darlaston will want to continue their good recent form.

There is a small car park next to the ground for about 110 cars. other parking is in the surrounding streets but please park considerately for the locals.
Parking is FREE on the car park on matchdays so there is no need to take notice of the charges
