Darlaston Town tomorrow welcome for the first time ever to the Paycare Stadium Bootle for a Northern Premier League West Division fixture kick off 3 pm.

Bootle have been in the Northern Premier League since 2021 when they were promoted in the FA’s League Organisations through their performances within the two curtailed seasons during COVID, when they were promoted from the North West Counties Premier Division. Since promotion The Buck’s have a best place finish of 4th with three mid-table finishes. Last season they finished 14th winning 16 out of their 42 league fixtures.

So far this season tomorrow’s opponents have started well have had a good start to the season and are still in the Emirates FA Cup after beating Sheffield 3-0 in the Preliminary Round, Harry Rimmer scoring a brace with Courtney Dufface scoring a penalty in the second half.

In the league so far, Bootle have played three fixtures, losing 2-1 at home to Nantwich Town on the opening day of the league season, followed by a 1-1 draw at Withenshaw Town the following Tuesday. Last Tuesday evening Bootle beat Avro 3-2, the winner coming in the 92nd minute from substitute Ben Hodgkinson. Forward Courtney Dufface is The Buck’s main goal threat scoring hree goals so far this season.

Bootle are bound to be a serious threat at the Paycare Stadium tomorrow, but Darlaston buoyed by a fabulous 2-0 win at Witton Albion on Tuesday evening should go into the fixture full of confidence and manager Dean Gill has also made two further signings since then.

Tomorrow’s fixture kicks off at 3.00 p.m.

Gates open at 1.00 p.m.
