Darlaston Town will tomorrow host Willenhall Town for the second time in this pre-season campaign.
Thankfully Willenhall Town were able to step in at the 12th hour to keep Dean Gill’s plans for the new season on track after planned opponents Hednesford Town were forced to withdraw from the fixture.
The teams met 10 days ago on 17th July 2021, Darlaston running out winners 5-0 with four second-half goals including a hat-trick from Andy Nichol after Ben Podmore opened the scoring in the first half and Jake Pearson scored the 90th minute with virtually the last kick of the game.
Darlaston go into the fixture off the back of a 2-0 win over step 3 Pitching In Southern League Premier Central side Alvechurch last Saturday, whereas Willenhall Town beat Black Country Fusion 4-1 last Saturday.
Kick-off 7.30 p.m. Entrance is free.
The bar and gates will open at 6.30 p.m. The bar will be serving both hot and cold and alcoholic beverages together with the “world’s best cobs” prior to and during the game.
Come and see Dean Gill’s men play their penultimate friendly of their pre-season campaign before they welcome Pitching In Northern Premier League - Midlands outfit Chasetown to The Paycare Ground on Saturday 31st July 2021 – kick-off 3.00 p.m.
