For everyone who has voted for Darlaston Town 1874 FC already in the Buildbase Golden Ticket appeal, can we as that you now ask, family friends and work colleagues to do the same it takes less than a minute to vote.
Since taking over the then named Bentley Leisure Pavilion some 7 years ago, the club has invested close to half a million pounds in improving the facilities of the now called Paycare Stadium. This is part of an ongoing improvement plan that will ensure that all users have the best facilities available.
Darlaston Town 1874 FC is a volunteer-run organisation and exists purely to provide football for everyone, and also a facility for anyone in the community to use. Over the years we have held weddings, christenings birthday and wedding anniversary parties, possibly every kind of party you can think of including the club’s annual pantomime.
This £10,000 bursary (The Golden Ticket) is being provided by Buildbase sponsors of the FA Vase and Trophy and is open to clubs to apply that have entered either competition. This season the bursary is aimed at improving changing facilities only and cannot be used for any other project, and the prize is paid in building materials.
At Darlaston, we have six team changing rooms and three officials changing areas, and we would like to refurbish some if not all of them. The facilities at Darlaston have been there for many years including when it was owned and used by Rubery Owen as their works sports facility before being given to Walsall Council. Despite the club looking after and decorating the changing rooms over the last 7 years, some areas could do with some improvement.
Therefore, we would ask you to contact all your friends, family, and work colleagues and ask them to vote for Darlaston Town 1874 FC by clicking BUILDBASE GOLDEN TICKET
In doing so we can ensure the local community benefits by being awarded a Golden Ticket.
We thank you in anticipation
