Darlaston Town Under 18 Development side travelled to The Dell Stadium Brierly Hill knowing that a win against hosts Dudley Town would take them to the top of the league.

The young Darlaston team did not disappoint as they ran out 7-1 winners, playing some scintillating football along the way.

A thoroughly impressive first half performance saw them race into a 5-1 lead. In particular four of the goals were of the highest quality.

Two second half goals consolidated the win as they go top of the Midland Midweek Floodlit League Western Division.
