Darlaston Town were held yesterday afternoon at the Paycare Stadium, by a well drilled and hard working Shepshed Dynamo side.

Both teams had opportunities to take the points, but were thwarted by excellent defending and goalkeeping, it was definitely a game where defences came out on top. It just proved a very valuable point that irrespective of form and recent results there are absolutely no easy games in this competitive league.

Next up for Darlaston is a massive game on Wednesday evening against Anstey Nomads, who last season finished runner-up and are just one place ahead of Darlaston in the league table. This is certainly a game Darlaston will need a big crowd with plenty of vocal support.
