Pre season maintenance moves on at a pace.
So far committee members and volunteers have already deep cleaned all nine dressing rooms, including the showers and toilets. Small repair and maintenance works has commenced as has deep cleaning of the carpets. There is plenty of external painting to be done, including the post and rail, stands floors and the yellow hatched areas, but it is simply too hot at the moment so all works are indoors at the moment. We hope the weather will relent and allow us to start outside painting sometime next week.
We still have to clean and wipe down internal woodwork, doors and skirting boards as well as finish off the deep cleaning of the carpets as well as a deep clean of both kitchens, additionally we need to sand internal doors, frames and skirting board and we can then start painting internally.
Richie Millward at Ri-Lex Window Cleaning has kindly agreed to jet wash all of the external UPVC fascias as well as jet washing the paved area in front of the club.
So if you can spare an hour or two on Saturday mornings between 10 and 12 noon that would be great. No need to tell us please just turn up. If you can spare some time in midweek then drop us a message and we can make arrangements with some of our other volunteers.
