Terry was one of life's good guys and an absolute gentleman. Terry was a regular supporter at home games over the last several years regularly being the first through the gate. Over the years he built up fantastic relationships with many of our regulars. Together with his wife Charli, he was a regular attendee at club fundraising events and was a regular contributor and supporter of match day fund raising.

Former Chairman Neil Chambers said " We are all devastated to hear of Terry's passing. Terry supported the club unconditionally since we re-formed over 10 years ago. Despite his mobility issues he rarely missed a home game and was the quietest, nicest man you could ever wish to meet. His love for the club was unquestionable, everyone loved Terry.

He was devoted to his wife Charli and it was wonderful for a group of us Darlaston Town stalwarts to have a meal with Terry and Charli last year. Terry and Charli were in great form on that afternoon.

Terry would always have a chat with me at games and always showed an interest in what was happening behind the scenes at the club. A top man and true supporter."

Tributes have already been received from fellow supporters John Williams and Nick Clarke.

John said "Terry was a true gentleman and a fantastic Darlo fan, I will miss our chats and banter with the rest of the gang. Thinking of his wife Charli and his family at this time. God bless you Terry"

Nick said " My heartfelt condolences to Terry's family, a great football mate. You will be sadly missed my friend. All my love to Charli, be strong."
