Midland League Division 3 Walsall Wood play Midland League Premier Division AFC Wolverhampton City.
Wood will be looking to secure their first ever final appearance whilst AFC will be looking to secure their fourth final appearance. Wood have already had victories over higher league opposition Romulus FC and Bilston Town to date, whilst AFC will be looking to put the disappointment of their play off defeat behind them.
The Bar will open at 6.00pm and hot food will be available as will free parking
Now sponsored by the Gough Group Ltd, the J W Hunt Cup Charity football competition was formed in 1926 to raise funds for the sole benefit of the local blind. It is named in memory of John William Hunt, a local business man and benefactor.
JW Hunt founded the local Chillington Tool Company and was a supporter of local charities.
The firms trademark was the "crocodile", and the crocodile is incorporated into the trophy handles.
It had been run every season since 1926/27 season up to 2018/19 season including during World War Two.
Season 2019/20 and 2020/21 were cancelled due to the Covid Pandemic regulations
The inaugural winners being Short Heath United who beat Cannon Iron at Molineux, Wolverhampton in April 1927.
Over £435,000 has been raised since the competition started.
