First signing this week is striker Ben Lund. With great pace and experience Lund is a welcome addition to The Citizens strike force. Lund has an excellent pedigree at Chasetown where he was a regular in their Northern Premier League side for several seasons. Also had a spell at Rushall Olympic. Ben played four games for Darlaston, under Dean Gill, in the 2021/22 season on loan from Chasetown scoring two goals.

Also joining The Citizens is 25 year old full back Nathan Scott. Scott has had spells at AFC Wolverhampton City, Stafford Town and Lye Town has been signed on dual registration from Rugby Town. Nathan played 24 times for Lye Town in their promotion winning 2022/23 season and was a member of the team in the play off final when they beat St Neots Town 6-1 to reach the Northern Premier League. Nathan has suffered with injuries recently but is now fully fit.
