Congratulations to former Darlaston keeper and Wolves loanee Jimmy Storer on his young player of the season award at Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton.

Jimmy joined us at the age of 19, on loan from Wolves during the 2024/25 NPL Midlands Division season. He was not only a top keeper but a fine young man, mature beyond his years and supported by his fantastic parents Jo and Lee who were regulars at The Paycare Stadium as well as many away games.

After his loan spell finished with us in January 2025 he moved on loan to National League North club Chester FC where he stayed until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Jimmy moved to Scottish Championship club Greenock Morton on loan from Wolves in July 2025 and has been first choice keeper in the 2025/26 season making 26 appearances.
