Its J.W. Hunt Cup action at the Paycare Stadium tomorrow evening

Darlaston welcome West Midlands (Regional) League Division Two side Punjab United for a First Round tie.

Tomorrow evening Darlaston Town take a break from league action when they welcome West Midlands Regional League Division Two side Punjab United to the Paycare Stadium for a First Round tie in this seasons JW Hunt Cup.

Punjab United are currently in 10th place within a Division of 13 teams. So far this season they have played nine games winning and drawing 2 games, losing 5 with a -4 goal difference. In their last three fixtures they have ’ve been beaten at league leaders Stourport Swift’s Development 2-1. The following Saturday saw a 2-2 draw at Edgbaston. Last Saturday Punjab were well beaten by third placed Pelsall Villa Colts 6-1 at the Codsall High School ground.

Dangerman Connor Forrester leads the scoring charts with six girls in four games followed by Kieran Cheema who has 5 goals in five games.

Darlaston meanwhile trained last night and manager Dean Gill is more than likely to juggle his pack and give some minutes to squad members that I’ve not played a great deal in recent weeks, he will also probably be looking to rest players who are carrying knocks and stains given the hard schedule in the past 6 weeks when Darlaston have played every 3 or 4 days. Also around the corner are two real import league fixtures both at the Paycare Stadium against Lichfield City on Saturday and league leaders Walsall Wood nest Wednesday.

Gates will open as usual at the Paycare Stadium tomorrow evening at 6:15. The bar will of course be serving its usual hot and cold pre-match food.

Entrance will be £6 Adults, £4 Concessions
There will be no programme on sale at this game.

PLEASE NOTE – Season tickets will not include tomorrow evenings fixture

We hope to see as many Darlaston fans tomorrow who may get a glimpse of the younger members of the squad and then maybe a new addition involved
