Charlie signed two year scholars deal at Coventry City which came to an end in June this year and during his time at Coventry he played regularly for the under 18’s with the occasional game for the under 23’s, scoring on many occasions.

Despite his experience so far, Charlie is definitely one for the future and in the games that he has played so far, scoring his first goal for the club at Alvechurch we hope this will be the first of many goals for the club. He has shown exceptional talent, strength and awareness for someone so young, despite the fact that he has played out of position in most of the games he has played so far.

The club are excited to have Charlie within their ranks and upon securing Charlie’s signature yesterday, our delighted manager said “Charlie is a very talented lad who I believe will have a very good footballing career. I don’t think his ceiling is determined yet as he still has lots of development to undergo and definitely has time on his side. I think he will thrive in non-league and be a threat to anyone he plays against. I am sure the Darlaston supporters will appreciate his no-nonsense positive approach”.
