With first team and youth team games at the Paycare Stadium finished for this season, we can now take that pre-season break before we start all over again in August.

SORRY just joking, as anyone involved in a non league football club knows this is now our busiest time of the year and we do not have any break.

Work has already started on our four pitches but the work on improving the car park, edging . strimming and trimming the outside areas is still needed. The Inside work now starts on a deep clean of our 9 dressing rooms, inside and outside toilets, two club rooms, two kitchens and all other parts of the club. there also about 50 windows to clean inside and out as well as to clean and wipe down the club facia.

So if you have any time available, an hour or so will do, please pop down to the club this Saturday morning between 10 am and noon. You can work inside or outside at your own pace. Cleaning and painting materials will be provided but it would help if you brought your own protective workwear. If you wish to work outside we have plenty of equipment but again it would help if you brought your own gloves, spade, grass edger, hedge trimmer etc.

All help will be gratefully received whether you can do an hour or more, one week or every week. We will have a working party at the club every Saturday morning from 10 am for a couple of hours until the start of the season. If you cannot make Saturdays but have some time to help out in midweek, then some of us will be down in midweek as well, so please let us know whenever you are available.
