Darlaston Town’s December 500 Club draw was drawn last yesterday. The draw organiser had intended the draw to take place before Tuesday nights game at Tamworth, but unfortunately things conspired before the game not to make it possible, therefore the draw took place at the offices of Tom Giles & Co yesterday afternoon.

December’s draw after everyone renewed consisted of 133 tickets with draw fund of £665.00 which produced a prize fund of £299.25.

In previous draws for many months, the clubs supporters have taken a huge percentage of the prize money, but this month’s draw has produced three winners that are all members of the first team squad.

First out of the hat this month was ticket 88 giving goalkeeper Sta Amos his first ever prize in the 500 Club, he will receive £166.25 for his first prize.

Second out was ticket 40 owned by midfielder James Rowland, this was Rolo’s third prize since the draw started more than two years ago, he will receive £99.75 for his second place.

The third ticket to be drawn was number 59, the number is owned by a player who joined us at the end of October from Shifnal Town, congratulations Roman Allen who will bank £33.25

All winners will paid today.

We now go into the third year of the successful 500 Club, and the 500 Club is a vital means of funding for the first team and we would be grateful if every supporter would join the 500 Club and therefore contribute directly to the running of the first team.

We would also ask that friends and family join the 500 Club. The Club is heavily supported by the players and management team, each member buying at least four numbers every month.

The draw takes place around the 8th of every month and the cost £5 per number per month, which can be paid monthly by standing order or annually at a cost of £60.
