I won’t labour the point today. In the last eight days we’ve faced Stalybridge Celtic, Tamworth and Vauxhall Motors. My lads have given absolutely everything, and they have my 100% support. I am fully responsible for everything that happens on the pitch, so any questions or criticism should come to me - not them. In our camp are many proud club heroes who are hurting right now, and we shouldn’t pretend otherwise.

The support at the game, especially from our Supporters Club who absolutely smashed it once again, was massively appreciated. That level of backing makes the toughest moments that little bit easier, and I’ve got a huge amount of love and respect for it.

Now we dust ourselves down and go again. Two home games in 72 hours against Avro and Trafford on Wednesday and Saturday. We’ll be ready, we’ll be united, and we’ll bring the very best version of ourselves to whatever challenge comes.
