I guess the fat lady was warming up her vocal cords after Saturday’s defeat at Long Eaton, as well as the defeat we also lost two of our talisman (Alex & Bish) for 8 games between them due to suspension, it would have been very easy to turn up feeling sorry for ourselves.

Taking 3 points last night was the only way we could keep our faint hope of the play off’s alive; I should be more shocked by how many times these lads go to the well, but they do it that often it’s a joke.

I’m not gonna be the sausage who says we should have won this, that or the other - that’s just disrespectful nonsense, Worcester are a huge club with massive financial support and unreal vociferous and passionate supporters - we knew we had to want it more than they did to beat them and want it more we did.

Positives were plenty, Cookie was level’s yesterday, adding hard work to his unquestionable talent, Bailey & Hayden - for 2 teenagers they absolutely bossed it and Alex & Poddy who didn’t give their forwards a kick. But the squad were outstanding, outstanding as men not just footballers - the key element.

We now welcome Quorn on Saturday in what should be a great game, I don’t buy all the BS about them not caring as they’re already promoted, we’ll prepare for the best of them and give it our best shot.
