Darlaston have suffered a third postponement in eight days when tomorrows trip to Leicestershire based Anstey Nomads was postponed at lunchtime today.
It has been widely reported this week, Anstey Nomads ground was flooded by a local river, and some of you would have seen in the national press and on the BBC the images and videos earlier this week. Fortunately the club and its facilities were not damaged in anyway.
The floodwaters have now rescinded but that has left another issue, because the pitch was saturated it has frozen solid, therefore Anstey Nomads had no alternative but to postpone tomorrows game, for which we thank them for the early notice.
A new date will be agreed between the clubs, and as soon as we know the new date we will of course let everyone know through the website and social media channels
