Darlaston Town yesterday secured promotion to Step 5 of the National League System for the first time in their long history thanks to a Keiran Miller 96th minute injury time winner.
A crowd of 501 lined the post and rail at the Paycare Stadium to watch a game played between two sides befitting of the occasion. Stapenhill despite their despair at losing so late in the game conducted themselves in an outstanding manner and were a credit to their club and supporters.
