
Darlaston Town’s pre season campaign will start in mid-June this coming season with the players old and new reporting for medical assessments and some hard training sessions.
Darlaston’s Management have arranged a busy pre-season consisting of nine games, split four home and away. The middle of July will see the return of the all important Leon Taylor Memorial Tournament, four teams will try to lift the trophy.
The games start as usual on the first Saturday in July with a trip to another new club. The squad will travel to Butts Park Arena to play Coventry United.
Darlaston return to The Paycare Stadium for a run of three games in 11 days, when they will welcome Coventry Sphinx, Lye Town and Pelsall Villa.
The third Saturday in July is the all-important Leon Taylor Memorial Tournament.
Two consecutive away trips to Brocton and Stone Old Alleynians who now play at Newcastle Town a ground we will also visit in the league this season.
Two more games follow Wolverhampton Casuals come to The Paycare Stadium and pre-season finishes with a trip to Southern League side Redditch United.
The clubs first league game of the season will be on Saturday 9th August kick off 3 pm. It is hoped we will receive the fixture list sometime in mid July.

Manager Dean Gill said earlier this morning “Preseason friendlies are extremely important preparation, we have a great mix of challenges that will help us get ready for the season ahead”.
