
Darlaston Town are delighted to announce the signing of Max Chimenes from Chasetown.
Max started his career at Port Vale playing in the academy for several years before earning a scholarship. During his footballing education he had spells on loan at Newcastle Town, and Glossop North End.
After being released from Port Vale, Max signed for Newcastle Town playing in the Northern Premier League before moving to 1874 Northwich who played in the same division.
Max signed for Chasetown in March 2024 after playing against them in a league fixture for 1874 Northwich. He remained at Chasetown until joining Darlaston Town.
Manager Dean Gill said “The staff worked hard to sign Max Chimenes from Chasetown, Max was our first choice forward and it’s nice to get your first choice.
Max is a very talented boy who has already shown strengths that we don’t have and will be pivotal for us for the remainder of the season, and we would like to thank Chasetown for their help in making Max’s transfer as smooth as possible”.
