"Congratulations to our Under 18s team Darlaston Town (1874) Cobras who won the Lichfield and District Recreational League.

In their first season in the league, under the guidance of Jason and Damo, they won the league losing just one game. On the final day of the season the youngsters were in second spot, two points behind Burntwood Dragons Thunders. Anything other than a win or Burntwood picking up a point or more would have meant a second placed finish. However a 1-0 loss for Burntwood and the Cobras 1-0 win over Walmley Colron in the final game ensured the league title was theirs.

A great first season in a strong league.
