Before the Newport Town home game last weekend, a special lady Cath Whitehouse Darlaston’s Asda Stores Community Champion visited The Paycare Ground and presented a £500 cheque to First Team Skipper Ryan McAllister and long serving player Lucas Hough.

The donation from Asda's Community Life Programme in association with Asda Foundation presented was of direct support the Club received from its local community and supporters voting by using their green tokens to vote for our nomination.

Firstly, we would like to thank Cath Whitehouse for accepting a nomination made on our behalf. Secondly on behalf of everyone connected with the Club, the Directors, Committee, Management, Players and Volunteers we would like to thank everyone who used their Green Tokens to vote for us.
