This afternoon the club received notification from Staffordshire FA that we have been drawn to play our big friends Chasetown in the Walsall Senior Cup Semi-Final. Chasetown are having another excellent season and like Darlaston are just outside the play-off places in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division.

The tie will take place at the Paycare Stadium on a date to be confirmed between both clubs depending on their availability between league fixtures.

Chasetown reached the final last season unfortunately they lost out to National League Division Two side Rushall Olympic 4-1. The final was played at Bescot Stadium in early May.

The other semi-final will be between either Stourbridge or Lichfield City who are yet to play their quarter final tie, which has been arranged for Tuesday 4th February at Stourbridge’s Memorial Ground, the winners will host Coleshill Town in the other Semi-Final tie.
