With the football season reaching the halfway stage Darlaston Town FC are introducing incentives to encourage new faces to The Paycare Stadium for their remaining Northern Premier League (NPL) fixtures.
With 4 home games in 14 days and just 10 home league fixtures remaining, the club are introducing different incentives to suit all pockets and all supporters.
Firstly, upon production of a valid season ticket, Walsall Wolves, West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa and Birmingham City season ticket holders will be admitted to any remaining league games for half price namely £4.50 Adults, Concessions £3.50.
Secondly, Darlaston play two games in 5 days, Shepshed Dynamo in a NPL game this Saturday kick off 3.00pm followed by another home game against Anstey Nomads on Wednesday 29 January kick off 7.45pm. The club recognise that this may be a financial drain on people's pockets and wish to minimise costs for supporters attending both games. Consequently, anyone attending the home game on Saturday v Shepshed Dynamo can also purchase a ticket for the following Wednesday night game v Anstey Nomads. The total cost to attend both games will be £14 for an Adult and £10 for concessions with Under 14s Free (if accompanied by an adult). Tickets for both games must be purchased on entry to the Shepshed Dynamo fixture.
Thirdly, the club are introducing a half season ticket. With half the season and just 10 home league games left the half season tickets will be just £80 Adults and £60 concessions. Children Under 14 Free (if accompanied by an adult).
Finally, the club recognises that season ticket holders will not benefit from these incentives. Consequently, at the 10 remaining home league games upon production of their season ticket they will be entitled to a discount on all Draught Beers & Ciders as well as well as on wines, bottled and canned drinks and hot beverages.
Chairman Neil Chambers said -
"Following our promotion to the Northern Premier League we hoped to see an increase in attendances. In reality they have remained broadly the same as last season and that is a little disappointing. With the team doing so well and still hopeful of a play-off spot extra support is vital to try and push them over the line. Consequently, the Directors and Committee have agreed to incentivise existing and new supporters by offering discounted ticket prices as well as discounted drinks prices for season ticket holders.
The quality of football is excellent, and we are confident that season ticket holders of professional clubs, as well as new supporters, will be pleasantly surprised not only by the football but by our food and drinks pricing and our overall offer.
We believe the actions we are taking are innovative and will ensure that any supporter, old or new, will benefit from these incentives."
