On a wet miserable April night Darlaston's run of poor form continued at the impressive Stansway Stadium.
Not for the first time recently, Darlaston made a good start, Zidan Sutherland and Kieron Berry combining down the left wing on more than one occasion. It was this combination that put the visitors ahead in the 7th minute. Sutherland beating keeper Ben Garrett from 15 yards.
Nantwich started to grow into the game, playing some neat attractive football from the back, Joe Piggott impressing in midfield with wingers Mason McKay and Alex Panter causing havoc.
The equaliser came on the half hour mark Joe Robbins driving hard and low beyond keeper Tom Beeby with an angled drive. Within 9 minutes full back Aidan Roxburgh had put the home side ahead and from there on it was an uphill task for the visitors.
The second half saw an impressive and rampant Nantwich side score three further goals courtesy of a Byron Harrison brace with substitute Callum Saunders completing the scoring on 72 minutes.
Darlaston ended the game with 10 men, player/manager Exodus Geohagon seeing red following a heated verbal exchange with the referee.
