Many new faces took advantage of the free admission at the Paycare Stadium for Darlaston's third pre season fixture against Step 4 SC Inkberrow.

Darlaston opened up a two goal lead in the opening 30 minutes against their Step 4 opposition. The Southern League Division One side pulled a goal back just before half time.

Both managers made numerous second half changes as the searing heat took its toll on the players. Chances were few and far between until the final few minutes when Inkberrow netted an 87th minute equaliser and snatched the winner with virtually the last kick of the game.

Both managers will be happy with their teams and players who put on an excellent game in 30 degree temperatures.

Darlaston travel to Long Lane Gt Wyrley on Tuesday night where West Midlands Regional League Pelsall Villa Colts will be the hosts.
