Darlaston Town were today extremely saddened to hear of the passing of the great Frank Heseltine.
An extremely honest colourful character who adorned the colours of many local teams he supported and brightened many people’s day with his positive friendly attitude. Frank would turn up at local club’s wearing his outfit consisting of the teams local colours.
When the club reformed Frank came and supported the new team and committee helping the club rise from the ashes.
Personally I can picture him now running up and down the far touchline at Bilston Town on a cold Monday night giving loads of encouragement to the clubs 16-18 year olds playing in the floodlit team some 8-9 years ago.
Frank you are a gentleman, and you will be so very sadly missed by many people.
RIP Frank, you will always be in our thoughts and hearts.
