A family with a huge connection to Darlaston Town need not only the clubs support but that of the town too.

This evening on ITV’s premier show Britain’s Got Talent, Darlaston Town 1874 FC are appealing to anyone connected with the Club and within the Town to vote for one of their own tonight

14-year-old Eva Abley who suffers from Cerebral Palsy took to the stage at her audition to perform a stand-up comedy routine that had the judges and audience in stitches.

Eva lives in Cannock with her parents, Matt & Kelly Abley. Matt is well known to the long-standing members of the Committee at Darlaston Town and also the team supporters. They will remember him as ‘Masha’ who as a young 15 year old played for Darlaston Town’s first team for many years before going into the services.

The family connection with Darlaston Town does not end there. His mother, Kath, and his father Joe kept The Prince of Wales for many years in the town, and in fact, his mom acted as Darlaston’s club Secretary for some years.

Therefore, we urge all of the Darlaston Town supporters, players, youth section, and ladies to get behind Eva and vote for her, following her performance this evening and everyone at Darlaston Town wishes her and the family all success in tonight’s episode and hopefully, Eva will make it through to the Final on Sunday Evening.
