Darlaston Town tomorrow travel a short distance to play a local Derby against West Midlands Premier League side Wednesfield Town in the third game of Manager Andy Parkes pre-season.

The fixture was originally due to play take place at Wednesfield Cottage Ground however due to the recent dry weather the game has been moved to Our Lady and St. Chad Catholic Academy on Old Fallings Lane, Wednesfield, WV14 8BL kick-off is at 2 pm not the originally advertised time of 3 pm.

Manager Parkes has been signing players on a regular basis and there are sure to be new faces once again present at tomorrow’s game together with the nucleus of the squad from last season

After last Tuesday evenings lost to higher League opposition Sporting Khalsa although the squad produced a good battling performance, we are sure that the management team will be looking to for a different kind of performance tomorrow, once again against higher League opposition

Games against Wednesfield do not come around very often therefore large numbers of fans are expected to attend tomorrow, and we look forward to seeing you all once again
