Parkes and Moore finally get their man

Manager Andy Parkes and his Assistant Scott Moore have been looking to recruit the right person to join their team. They have been looking to bring in a coach for some weeks now, and finally they have got their man.

A big Darlaston warm welcome to Michael Eagles.

Michael played with Manager Andy Parkes 8n their younger days at Willenhall Town where a friendship was born. Obviously both players went down different paths, one of those introduced Scott Moore and Micheal Eagles, another friendship was created. All 3 have kept in touch in touch since on a regular basis.

Eagles non-league career has been littered with success playing for the likes of Willenhall Town, Rushall Olympic, AFC Wulfrunians, Wolves Sporting and Wednesfield.

Darlo News caught up with Eagles and he said "I had an opportunity to work with a couple of different clubs but Darlaston really appeals to me. Things look like going in the right direction. The squad has some good young lads and I believe I can pass some of my non-league experience on to them and be part of a young and enthusiastic management team which is doing everything they can to help the club to go in the right direction, I cannot wait to roll up my sleeves and get started”.

This Saturday against Willenhall will see Eagles take his place in the dugout for the first time as a coach. We wish him all the best and welcome to the Club Michael Eagles
