"It has never been about where we are, it’s only ever been about where we’re going. " said Dean earlier this morning

It has never been about where we are, it’s only ever been about where we’re going. Sometimes you dig for a year and move a mile and sometimes you dig for a year and move an inch. However, no matter what happens tomorrow we will move forward together as a team.

10 of tomorrow’s squad have played for me, and therefore together, for a combined 80 seasons - the vast majority started bottom of step 7 and all from step 6 - consider that in a game where success is perceived to be all about money and resources, how these lads have blown that theory up, from step 7 to only 2 games from step 4, what a group of loyal boys.

Please come tomorrow and enjoy the game - win, lose or draw - I know that may be hard for some but please try to. Whatever happens you have a fantastically healthy football club run by wonderful caring custodians with a great football future - there is nothing to be disappointed about.

The play offs are a celebration of 11 months of hard work, they won’t define success to me or how successful my players and staff are, I want to win far more for everyone associated with the club than I do for myself, my reward was 3rd in the league - that’s my measure and my reward, 9 seasons of finishing higher than the season before.

Thank you in advance for all your amazing support, we will give it our all - come loud & proud ?

UFTD

Dean
