After a recent interview on Loose Women, Committee Members from Darlaston Town (1874) approached Gogglebox celebrity Sandra Martin with the idea of her coming to host a fun filled adult evening at The Paycare Ground to raise funds for Darlaston Town (1874) FC.

Sandra known for her on screen partnership with friend Sandy and daughter Chanchez in Channel 4 Award Winning Programme Gogglebox. Sandra is passionate about helping charities and jumped at the chance to host the evening after it was explained what services the Club, Ground and Pavilion provide to the Local Community and what we are trying to achieve.

The evening on Saturday 14th April will be a trivia-based quiz hosted by Sandra with the winners receiving a cash prize. Also, during the evening if you so wish there will be an opportunity to meet and greet Sandra as well as being able to take pictures.

If you think you have what it takes to be crowned “Darlo’s brainbox” then please order your tickets at £5.00 each from the Club as soon as possible by speaking to either Nicola Waite or Lynne Hale as we are confident tickets will sell out quickly. This evening is advertised as an Adult Only event, and unfortunately Children should be discouraged not to attend.

Darlaston Town (1874) FC volunteer Nicola Waite said, “I am so excited that Sandra has agreed to come and support “Our Little Club”. Knowing how she appears on TV I am confident the evening will be full of laughter, jokes and banter in true Sandra Style.

Doors will be open at 7pm on the evening but tickets must be purchased in advance to avoid disappointment.
