Darlaston this evening welcome high flying Alvechurch to The Paycare Ground

Darlaston tonight welcome a newly set up Alvechurch Reserves to The Paycare Ground. The Reserves have been set up to develop the huge pool of young talent at the Club, so as they can progress into the first team.

Manager Parkes has played higher league opposition now for the last three friendlies, and tonight's game will be the hardest test yet of his squad.

Alvechurch last season secured their second successive promotion finishing in second place behind Champions Barwell United and above Frickley Athletic and Bedworth United. Like many sides at this level, they will have added to their squad for the coming season, so don't be surprised if they send a few first team players to The Paycare Ground this evening as they will be looking to win.

Manager Parkes and Head Coach Scott Moore will have chosen a strong squad, also including some trialists, that could also be added to their ever growing squad in readiness for the seasons start. I know they were not happy with some aspects of Saturdays game and after their long chat with the players, I am sure the lads will be looking to put in a better shift.

So this is the first chance Darlaston's home supporters have had this season to see all of the Management's Team hard work in new signings and pushing the players through pre-season. So why not come to the usually friendly Paycare Ground and support your local team ENTRANCE IS FREE
