Whether we admit it or not winning is all that matters tomorrow. Winning creates more history for both clubs and the emotion of defeat will feel like the end of the world - reflection and time will show that both Lichfield and Darlaston have had exceptional seasons no matter what and tomorrow won’t define my feelings about this season.

Before tomorrow’s game I’d like to do a few things; firstly, I’d like to congratulate Ivor and Lichfield on an amazing season and, regardless of the result tomorrow, I respect any club who goes about their business the way they do - respect and congratulations to them.

Secondly, I’d like to thank everyone who has helped and supported my squad - if we win please enjoy it and if we lose please stay positive and humble as this won’t have been our time.

Finally, from when I joined 3 seasons ago, we have lost some amazing people - keeping things in perspective, this side of life is what really matters and I’m sure they’re in all our thoughts, proud people in a proud club.
