Darlaston Town broke three club records after winning their final league game of the season at Stone Old Alleynians last night

Daralston's punishing end of the season has seen them play 7 games in 18 days, but they have defied the odds winning every game without conceeding

Darlaston Town finished in record breaking style at Leek Town last night when they wrapped up a third placed finish after a 3-0 win over Stone Old Alleynians.

In their 150th Anniversary Year, Darlaston Town broke two club records and a record that has stood since 1907 in their 3-0 win against Stone Old Alleynians played at the superb home of Leek Town FC. The seventh clean sheet in succession by keeper Tom Allsopp broke a club record whilst the result ensured Darlaston finished third the highest place finish at Step 5 of the National League System in their history. Additionally, the seventh consecutive league win broke the previous club record of six consecutive wins at the start of the 1907/08 season when the club won the Birmingham Junior League.

A 10 day rest is ahead for Darlaston, becuse of Highgate Uniteds loss at Northwich Victoria last night they will face Stourport Swifts at he Paycare STadim in the play-offs on Saturday 27th April kick off 3 pm.
