Darlaston Town (1874) Appeal for Help following Break-In

The club release stills and video of three burglars DO YOU KNOW THEM?

Following the break-in at Bentley Leisure Pavilion the home of Darlaston Town (1874) FC at the beginning of November 2018 Darlaston are issuing an appeal to the local community to help identify the three individuals within the photographs and video shown within this post.

The damage caused during the break-in was excessive, most of it caused by gaining access, removing TV’s and smashing the office door and frame.

The children’s sweet vending machines were smashed, damage was also cause to the pool table. Two new large TV’s were ripped from the walls. The whole cellar and bar stock were taken including snacks bottled bear, spirits and soft drinks.

An irreplaceable 20-year collection of karaoke discs was taken along with The Poppy Appeal Charity Box together with the bar staff tips tin.

Club memorabilia was damaged, the office was trashed, desk smashed and a safe bolted to the floor was taken.

Following the break-in West Midlands Police Forensic Officers spent time examining the Pavilion for evidence and also the Police have a copy of the CCTV recording. Their work is ongoing and we expect charges to be brought at the appropriate time.

The club are appealing for anyone who can identify the three individuals shown on the stills and in the CCTV. Following our own investigation we know two of the individuals and their addresses, one of whom lives locally. Their details have been passed to the police. It will help us tremendously if you know any of them to send us information which we will pass onto the police to help with their enquiries.
