Sundays Wolves All Stars vs SBBS Builders XI Charitygame and Family Day Out is to raise funds for a local charity close to most people’s hearts

Darlaston Town (1874) are delighted to have been chosen to host a charity football match in aid of Walsall based charity Smile for Joel.

Joel along with his grandfather and Uncle were sadly taken from their families during the 2015 Tunisian Terror Attack.

Joel was well known to most people in Non-League football in the West Midlands area, because he was an exceptionally talented young referee, who was clearly on the way to a much higher level in football given his talents.

For those who cannot make Sundays Event, or for businesses who would like to donate to help the charity Catherine Clines has set up a “Just Giving Page”

The page story says

Charity football match. #smileforjoel is a fundraising charity to support the families of victims of murder and terrorism. It was set up by a loving woman who lost three members of her family in the 2015 Tunisian Terror Attack. Her son Joel, Dad Pat and brother Ade all sadly lost their lives. Her other son Owen was the sole survivor of her family on the beach that day and witnessed what no one should ever go through.
